Financial Policy
Our grace financial policy is this: there is absolutely no charge for any published media from this local church. "Freely you received, freely give." (Matthew 10:8) The principle of God's grace as a free gift to man in every case is the basis for this policy; we want to communicate God's character in all of our activities.
Notice that "free of charge" does not mean "free of cost." The Lord's way of projecting His Word is through the grace offerings of the Body of Christ-the individual believers that make up the Church. Just as Paul's missionary endeavors were supported by the free-will offerings of the believers in his sending churches, so it is with us today.
As the Lord motivates you to partner in the Gospel ministry, to "partake" of this grace work of God, as Paul puts it in Philippians 1:7, you should be mindful of a few things:
- There is no requirement for tithing (a 10% income tax under the Law) in this age of the Church.
- Your gift is a matter of worship between you and the Lord (Matthew 6:1, 2 Corinthians 9:7).
- You must provide for your family before you consider supporting the work of the Gospel ministry (1 Timothy 5:8).
- There is great blessing for those who understand grace giving and do so as worship to the Lord for His glory.
